Plenty of tradies have a website and still get zero jobs from it. That's not bad luck — it usually comes down to a handful of specific, fixable problems. If your site is just sitting there, run through this list.
1. Nobody can find it
A website that doesn't rank for local searches is invisible. If you're not appearing when someone searches your trade plus their suburb, the site can't bring you work no matter how good it looks. This is the single most common issue — the site exists, but it was never optimised to be found.
2. It's too slow, especially on mobile
Most people find trades on their phone, and they leave a slow site within seconds. If your pages take more than a few seconds to load, you're losing visitors before they ever see your services. Speed also affects your Google ranking.
3. It doesn't make the next step obvious
Visitors should never have to hunt for how to contact you. Your phone number should be visible at the top of every page, ideally tap-to-call, with clear buttons to request a quote. A beautiful site with a buried phone number converts terribly.
4. It has no local proof
Customers want to see that you work in their area and that other locals trust you. Real photos of your jobs, your service areas, and visible Google reviews all reassure a visitor that you're the right, safe choice.
5. It's not connected to anything
A website works best as part of a system — linked to a ranked Google Business Profile, with missed-call text-back catching the enquiries it generates. On its own, even a good site leaves money on the table.
The fix
A trade website should be fast, findable, obvious to act on, full of local proof, and connected to your Google presence and follow-up. If yours isn't, that's exactly what we rebuild. Request a free preview and we'll show you what yours could look like.
